Bringing Cup A Pasta to Life: Texture, Motion, and Flavour
This campaign for Continental’s Cup A Pasta range — featuring Carbonara and Mac & Cheese Jalapeño — was a playful exploration of flavour, texture, and movement. The brief was clear: elevate everyday convenience into something visually irresistible, while staying true to the product straight from the pack.
As the food stylist, the challenge was to highlight each ingredient with clarity and intention — ensuring that every element felt vibrant, appetising, and true to life. Working with a product like this requires a balance between authenticity and enhancement: showcasing what’s inside the cup, while giving it a refined, editorial finish.
Several key components were styled and captured separately to achieve this level of detail. Bacon pieces, chilli, pasta, and hero ingredients were treated as individual subjects — allowing their texture, colour, and character to fully stand out before being brought together in the final composition.
The campaign also introduced a dynamic layer of movement, collaborating with a dancer to inject energy and personality into the visuals. This interplay between still life and motion brought a unique rhythm to the shoot — transforming a simple product into a lively, expressive story.
It was a pleasure collaborating with new clients and a talented creative team, pushing the boundaries of how convenience food can be presented. Seeing the final visuals come together — where every ingredient shines and the product feels alive — is always the most rewarding part of the process.
